Steve Bloomfield

Steve Bloomfield is a writer and journalist. He is currently the Observer’s international editor and also spent five years as the newspaper’s head of news. He was previously the deputy editor of Prospect magazine, the foreign editor of Monocle and the Africa correspondent for the Independent.

He has reported from more than 60 countries on five continents and is a previous winner of the Orwell Prize for journalism.
