Rheinila Fernandes, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist and skilled trauma clinician who served as Lead Investigator and therapist in Phase 3 MAPS-sponsored MDMA-assisted therapy trials. She brings expertise in somatic, evidence-based approaches to trauma and relational healing, with specialized training in mindfulness-based interventions. As former faculty at Harvard Medical School, she provided clinical care and teaching at MIT for over a decade. She is certified in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and maintains an integrative psychiatric practice in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
