Rose Sutherland’s debut novel A SWEET STING OF SALT (Bantam Dell, 2024) was shortlisted for the Rakuten Kobo Emerging Writer prize, an Aardvark Book Club pick, and named a “best book of the year” by Elle Magazine. In addition to writing, Rose has graduated from theatre school in NYC, apprenticed at a pâtisserie in rural France, and currently lives and works on Nova Scotia's South Shore, where she is converting a shed into a tiny home and writer's studio.
