Richard Dempsey and Jill Bernstein

Richard Dempsey is a retired English teacher who lives in a suburb of Chicago. He is a graduate of Notre Dame University with a B.A. in English and an M.Ed. from Loyola. His English text is a product of thirty years of teaching, and he continues to edit everything he reads. He still finds satisfaction in guiding those who strive to craft the perfect sentence.
