Marta Bausells

Marta Bausells is a fiction and non-fiction writer, editor and journalist based in London and Barcelona. Her work has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, The Guardian, The Financial Times, British Vogue, Elle, The Paris Review, and more. A recipient of numerous literary honors, including the London Writers Award and grants from Arts Council England, she has held fellowships and residencies at institutions such as Headlands Center for the Arts and the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation. She was selected as one of the London Library's Emerging Writers in 2020-21, and her novel-in-progress was commended at the New Forms Award from the University of East Anglia. Previously, she was Literary Editor at Elle UK and a journalist at The Guardian, where she led literary initiatives.
