Lucien Burr

Lucien Burr is a queer Melbourne based fantasy author with a background in Clas ics and Ancient History. Before turning to fiction full time, he previously worked at a cat cafe and in the video game industry. His work is deeply influenced by mythology, the medieval world, and masculinity in Ancient Greece and the early Roman Empire. Lucien lives with Carmilla, a seven-year-old rescue cat with no teeth, named after the famous lesbian vampire. (She still had teeth when she was named.)
