Leslie Kay is a neuroscientist and professor at the University of Chicago. She is an internationally recognized expert on the sense of smell and the brain systems and dynamics that support it. She has been asking brains how this sense works for over 30 years. She has a PhD in Biophysics from UC Berkeley and a BA in Philosophy and Mathematics (liberal arts) from St. John’s College in Santa Fe, NM. Her research has been published in dozens of scientific articles. She is writing a book about how the sense of smell organizes our brains and adds meaning to our lives.
