Katie Ewen

Katie Ewen is an aquatic ecologist for the National Park Service's North Coast and Cascades Network. In Washington's Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks, she leads research in freshwater ecosystems including alpine lakes, streams, and glacial rivers. She has worked as an environmental educator in Yellowstone and on Mount Rainier, inspiring students to pursue research questions, conserve wildlife, and protect sensitive ecosystems.
