John Lechner

John Lechner holds a master’s degree in foreign service from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in Slavic languages and literature from Harvard University. His work has been published in Foreign Policy, BBC, Lawfare, The U.S. Institute of Peace, War on the Rocks, Kyiv Post, The Diplomat, Africa is a Country, African Arguments, The National Interest, Defense One, among others. A native of Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts, Lechner lives in Washington, D.C.
