Actor, director, writer, and provocateur John Cameron Mitchell has played roles on HBO’s Girls with Lena Dunham, Showtime’s Yellowjackets, Hulu’s Shrill with Aidy Bryant, Netflix’s The Sandman, and Hulu’s limited series Joe vs. Carole. His writing and directing projects include the erotic comedy film Shortbus and the rock musical and film Hedwig and the Angry Inch, which earned six Tony awards, two Sundance Awards, and a Golden Globe nomination.
