Danielle Dreilinger


Danielle Dreilinger, a 2017-18 Knight-Wallace Journalism Fellow, has worked as a journalist for more than 15 years. As the education reporter for | The Times-Picayune in New Orleans, she became a trusted voice and national must-read for people following the city's radical post-Katrina school experiment. Before moving to New Orleans, Danielle wrote about city news and happenings for the Boston Globe and worked in public media, both audio and digital, at WGBH and WBUR. Her work has appeared in Ploughshares, No Depression, The New York Times, Nashville Scene and Boston Magazine, among other outlets. She lives in New Orleans.
